As a home business owner you find yourself having to learn many skills.
Some of them you either hate to do or are really lousy at doing.
Home business owners need to be computer savvy.
They need to understand graphics, video and audio.
They need to understand copywriting.
They need to understand advertising and promotion.
The list of skills can be daunting for any small business owner.
Fortunately, there is a solution that can save you time and YES, money.
Hire professionals to do what they are good at so you can do what you are good at and like to do.
You may be saying to yourself right now, “But that sounds really expensive.”
Well, it can be but it doesn’t have to.
When you are first starting out, there are a number of resources that you can use.
One of the best I’ve found is a place called fiverr.com.
For a mere $5 people will do almost anything for your business.
They will create graphics and banners for your website.
They will record audio and video or supply you with music for your site.
They will write copy for your emails.
There are thousands of things listed.
If you want to try out fiverr.com, it’s free to look at all the things they have.
Then just hire your gig and wait a day or two and your order will be done.
I’ve had great service.
Plus, fiverr supplies you with reviews so you can make a good decision when you make your order.
I hope this helps you.
I came across a great article today with suggestions on getting more eyeballs on your blog.
The article actually gives 15 tips. I’m going to share 10 of those with you and I’ll share the link to the article at the end. These are some awesome tips.
Write Well and Write Often
Frequently updating your blog with useful content is the first step to building your blog’s audience. The content you write is what will keep readers coming back for more. Make sure you have something meaningful to say to them and say it often to maintain their interest and keep them loyal.
No feed items found.I did a terrific interview with Anji Long today. She talked about her reasons for starting an online business and the struggles along the way.
She also gives some tips to anyone wanting to start an online business.
Listen to it here:

I find it very amusing to hear what people say when you tell them you are working a business online.
I’ve heard the words, “suspicious”, “risky”, “scary”, “scam”, and all sorts of things said when you tell them what you are doing.
They have no idea what they are talking about.
Let me explain what I do.
I advertise products for which I am paid.
That’s pretty much “it”.
My products consist of both tangible things like herbal supplements and information products in the form of ebooks and documents.
I also help people get cash back on their online purchases FOR FREE and the merchants give me a commission for finding customers.
I am also beginning to teach others how to do what I do to make money from home using a computer and internet connection.
Is it any more scary, suspicious, risky or scammy than working a job and getting paid? I don’t think so. If I work, I get paid….just the same.
One woman told me I will rot in hell for doing what I do. Wow. That’s harsh. I work for everything I get and I work hard. For that I am eyed suspiciously.
When I try to help someone else, I am immediately suspect.
I think it’s kind of funny. People fear what they don’t understand.
But I really enjoy doing what I do. I help some people and get paid to do so.
I am a marketer.
I recently watched a video presented by Mike Dillard. For those of you who don’t know, Mike is a very wealthy man who made a ton of money on the internet.
He said that most people will not obtain any riches because of their attitude towards money.
There is an oft-quoted platitude saying, “Money is the root of all evil.” The actual quote is this: 1 Timothy 6:10 10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
The meaning becomes clear when you read the whole quote. When money becomes your “god” you bring sorrow upon yourself.
The fact is money is a tool. Just like any other tool it can be used or abused. A knife is indispensable in the kitchen but it can also be used to murder.
But Dillard pointed out that there are many who think that anyone who is rich somehow got that way by making someone else poor. That is a predominant thinking of the “occupy” movement people and it is poppycock.
As long as you have that attitude, you will never obtain any riches.
The truth is that a sizeable chunk of the wealthy are generous and donate billions to charity. They also have time to spend doing charitable work. They use their wealth to make the lives of others better. Many non-profit organizations could not function without the generosity of the rich and large corporations. Large corporations also keep the cost of things low enough so they can still profit but have products that consumers can afford to buy. It doesn’t work otherwise.
Dillard said he ALWAYS gives a generous tip to servers in a restaurant knowing that they have low wages. He said he does it even if the service is not good. They may just be having an off day. He has also been in their shoes and understands what a tip means to them.
Dillard said giving back to your community and to others is an essential if you are to truly be rich.
He said it is important to think of your money as a tool and make it not only work for you but to make it work for the good of others.
In order to attract money to you, you must have the proper attitude. Lack of self-esteem, lack of motivation or ambition, thinking money is filthy or thinking you don’t deserve to have it will drive riches away from you.
Having an open attitude towards money to welcome it into your life will draw it to you. Opportunities will arise.
“It is rather funny to hear people say how much they want money and wish they had more, yet, in the deep recesses of their subconscious mind, where it counts most, they repel any opportunity to improve their situation.
It is difficult to attract money, if there is a negative attitude about it. You cannot attract something that deep in your heart you despise. This is a most common attitude for many people. They desire money, but their attitude is negative and therefore repellent. If you want to attract money, you have first to get rid of all negative thoughts and attitude about it. A habit of many years has to change.” Ramez Sasson.

A couple of years ago, I decided that I needed to look for a Plan B as I watched the business I worked for go consistently downhill.
Not only was the business in a decline but my boss was the kind of employer who only said something to you if he saw you doing something he didn’t like.
There was no option for advancement or improvement. He didn’t offer encouragement or training.
When I did something he didn’t like, he’d threaten to fire me.
I worked for this company for 7 years.
At the same time, due to declining health, my husband was unemployable so it was up to me to supplement his retirement income which was about half of what he made while working.
We also had two adult children living at home because they weren’t making enough money to live on their own and one was on disability.
So it was important for me to be able to work.
Well, the inevitable finally happened, I was laid off from my job.
But it was actually a good thing to happen to me.
First of all, the stress of working for a boss who never really appreciated my work was over.
Secondly, I finally have time to work on my Plan B.
My plan B was an online business.
I had already been studying and seeing what others were doing to make money online. I had enrolled in a program that was promising and could feasibly make me the kind of money I needed to make.
I am now a full-time internet marketer and am enjoying every minute of it.
It gives me freedom, confidence, and the resources I need.
I highly recommend it to others and would be happy to help you shorten your learning curve by supplying right now what it took me almost 2 years to learn.
I want you to succeed and enjoy the freedom I now enjoy.
Yours in Success,

Here’s what I’m doing to make money:
I just finished talking with a successful online marketer in the UK. He told me that there are too many people who quit before they have really even begun.
Online marketing is a real job with real responsibilities.
You have an obligation to the people who buy your product or opportunity. You have an obligation to provide them with the information they need to also be successful.
It’s not about YOU making money, it’s about providing others what they need.
When you provide service to others the rest follows.
Some call that “attraction marketing”.
When people see you as their go-to person, you will create a loyal following. They will see you as honest and a person they can trust.
It’s no good getting traffic to a web site unless you plan to engage with those prospects.
There used to be a telephone commercial that had the theme, “reach out and touch someone”.
That should be a daily mantra for marketers.
All people are connected in some way in this world. You can have a meaningful connection when you seek to serve the people with whom you connect.
There is a plan for online marketers who want to succeed. It involves people.
I hope this gives you some ideas.
Have a successful day,
