Honesty is best policy

I heard a comment by someone today recommending some software. That person then said you didn’t have to pay for it and gave links and codes to unlock the software.

I’m sure he meant well and thought he was doing a favor for others by sending out cheat codes to get software they didn’t pay for. It’s a common thing these days for people to have this attitude. They think the software is too expensive or the company is just a big corporation and won’t miss it.

The problem with this kind of thinking is that it poisons something inside of you. The something-for-nothing attitude is what keeps many people slaves to the “system” and keeps them getting nothing-for something.

If you want to have a good relationship with money, you have to treat it fairly. By believing others deserve to be paid for their goods and services, you are telling the universe that you too deserve to be paid for your efforts.

You can’t truly be happy without honesty.

Douglas Adams says, “To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured with money, and that is sincerity and integrity.

If you want to truly help someone and give service to them, teach them to be honest and to earn what they get.

It is an impoverished attitude that says you have to take from someone else to make yourself better.

Buying software is a cost of doing business. You aren’t going to be able to keep any kind of riches without having an honest relationship with money.

Pay your bills honestly and be generous to those who have less and your relationship with money gets better and better. It will want to be where you live.
